Connor Yuhao Wu
Connor Y.H. Wu is a Ph.D. candidate in Management Science and Information Systems at Oklahoma State University's Spears School of Business, advised by Regents Professor Ramesh Sharda. His research examines the economics and organization of generative AI in healthcare — how AI adoption recomposes clinical work, workforce composition, and hospital operations, with attention to health IT platform ecosystems, EHR vendor channels, and healthcare equity. His dissertation, From Scale to Composition: How Generative AI Recomposes Clinical Work, traces these effects at the physician, hospital, and patient levels using causal inference with large-scale observational data. Before his IS doctorate, he spent over a decade in health geography and GIS, publishing 23 peer-reviewed articles (550+ citations, h-index 12).
